Hi! My name is Skylar and I am a running coach passionate about helping women achieve their running goals all while having fun, feeling empowered, and training the way that they want to train!!!. I work with all running levels from beginner to expert.
A little about me, I have been running competitively for almost 14 years. My running journey began in the 5th grade when my gym teacher convinced me to run the mile race at our end-of-the-year field day. As soon as the gun sounded and I started to put one foot in front of the other, it was history. I had found my first love and lifelong passion. I went on to run competitively through Middle School, High School, and even at the D2 Collegiate level. Running has gotten me through some really hard times and created some of the best memories in my life. It also has created many friendships that I will treasure forever.
Transitioning from competitive running to recreational jogging post-college, I realized the vital role a supportive coach plays in tailoring workouts, listening to goals, and providing personalized training. That’s why I founded You Run Like a Girl—to offer top-tier, personalized coaching to help you reach your running dreams.
